We had a great sail today. Up early to head to GHP. It was a long sail, so we all had a chance at the helm. Once we got there, we had an underwater photography chat, lunch and then did an underwater photo dive. It was such a different experience and a lot to think about. We saw an eagle ray but I was out of film! Tonight we have our first research diver lecture; I think it will be cool to learn about that. |

Today was a great day. We went to Salt Island and did our second photo dive on the famous wreck of the Rhone and did a hike that was awesome. After that, we had a great time on the boat while heading back to GHP. When the night came, we went night diving, which was one of my favorite dives because night diving is so much fun. We didn't see a lot, but it was great. It feels great to have done all the dives to be an advanced diver. |

Today started late in Arc terms. We got to sleep
in until 8:30! This morning, the advanced divers went
to dive and map the Fearless while the marine bios
and others went for a morning snorkel and fish dissection.
They may get a chance to work with Lifeworks and help
them with turtle tagging. That afternoon, the advanced
divers did their first dives with only a buddy and
no instructors. The marine bio started doing research
dives. The day ended with some fabulous water skiing
and a massive boat cleaning followed by a brownie session.
It was a great day. |

Activities: |
Today we sailed over to Hodges creek, the Sunsail marina. The entrance is by a very shallow reef and this was pretty interesting to see how it is marked so you know how to get in. We docked and while our great skippers got water and supplies, we were able to get some souvenir shopping done. Back aboard, we sailed over to Ginger Island to dive Ginger steps. This dive was so different from a lot of the others and may be my new favorite. Then we motored to Marina Cay, anchored and had dinner. Tonight all of the boats are going to shore for a Lifeworks Forum. It will be fun to see some other friends. |

Today Cala D'oro was split up and advanced divers went over to Bona Matina. We sailed 9 miles offshore to dive the Chikuzen wreck. The marine bio divers went to Lava Flow beach and did a great snorkel and worked on their research projects. The Chikuzen was an awesome wreck with schools of barracuda and other fish. We had mac and cheese, and sailed to Muskmellon Bay. We joined the Marine Bio back on the good ship Cala D'oro and had Chili. Then everyone did our last night dive with only our buddies, and no instructors. No one got lost and we all had a fun dive. Everyone loves night diving and we were sad this was our last dive. |

We got to sleep in until 7:45 today as usual. We ate breakfast and water skied or went wake boarding. Today was different because we took a break from diving today. Instead, we spent the day relaxing and learning how to save panicked divers. After an insightful lecture aboard Bona Matina from the Rescue students, we headed over to Sommer's Beach. There we enjoyed frolicking in the surf and partaking in a game of ultimate Frisbee, kind of. We also learned some rescue diver stuff. Later (after taking 5 sea showers) we went back to the beach for a BBQ, as well as to play the Game of Life. |

We sailed from Sommer's Beach to Brewers Bay. Then the advanced did their second underwater naturalist dive. Annie and I missed the sleeping turtle, unfortunately. The marine bio had two research dives. After lunch, and our great equipment lecture, we relaxed until about 4:30. From there, we motored around the corner to Cane Garden Bay, where we will hike and have our reggae party tomorrow night. Tonight we have the fish ID slide show. We are all interested to know more about what we are seeing. |
